Our Vision

The Colorado Parent Advocacy Network (CPAN) is a collaborative statewide network in which parents, stakeholders and educators can purposefully work together to restore a rigorous, non-political, safe and fulfilling educational experience for all students.  This is achieved through a culture of accountability for academic excellence, accessibility to school choice, partnerships with families, and curricula transparency.

Our Mission

The Colorado Parent Advocacy Network (CPAN) is a 501c4 statewide organization that is guided by America's founding principles.  CPAN provides the following resources and support to ensure the children of Colorado receive a quality education:
  • School-based audits to ensure institutional practices allow for safe and equal opportunity, freedom of speech, and an age-appropriate, balanced curriculum that is absent of political agendas guaranteeing the opportunity for all students to be supported on their individual pathways.
  • The CPAN Seal of Approval to schools that demonstrate a commitment to ensuring district transparency, accountability, partnerships with families and that curricula are guided by academic excellence and aligned with non-political, common-sense values.
  • Educational resources, informational classes and advocacy support for parents and stakeholders.
  • Mentorship for establishing an advocacy group.
  • Connections for educators to support transparency, create community and access alternative resources for professional liability protection.
  • Advocacy at the state level on topics such as academic standards, parents' rights, and accessibility to school choice.
